
The Faculty of Engineering is calling for 15 Chula Engineering undergraduate students to join the 2100310 Global Awareness in Technology Implementation (#GATI Batch 7). GATI is a 3-credit undergraduate collaborative course between Chula Engineering and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech, Japan). This year’s theme aims to make a contribution to realizing Sustainable Development Goals (#SGDs) using Artificial Intelligence (#AI) facilitated prototype or process.
The course is conducted in English as an international project-based study. Chula Engineering students will work together with Tokyo Tech students. The lectures will be run by professors from Chula Engineering as well as Tokyo Tech and other experts from the field.
In the 1st Semester of the academic year 2022, the GATI course will be on every Wednesday (August 10th to December 23rd, 2022) from 12:30 to 15:30 (Bangkok time). Students from Chula Engineering and Tokyo Tech will study together via an online platform. GATI Students from both universities will join the site visits together in Thailand (Tentatively in August-September 2022) and Japan (Tentatively in December 2022). The enrolled students will be responsible for the flight tickets, accommodation, and other expenses. The faculty will provide partial support for the students.
