On September 7, 2023, Prof. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj, Ph.D. (Associate Dean for Research Affairs), Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng., (Assistant Dean for Communications and International Affairs), Asst. Prof. Attawith Sudsang, Ph.D. (Head of the Department of Computer Engineering), Assoc. Prof. Duangdao Wichadakul, Ph.D. (Associate Head for Research of the Department of Computer Engineering) Assoc. Prof. Wanchai Rivepiboon, Ph.D. (Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering), Faculty of Engineering; and Assoc. Prof. Rajalida Lipikorn, Ph.D. (Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science), Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed the representatives from The National Institute of Informatics (NII), Japan, including Prof. Emmanuel Planas, Ph.D. (Acting Director of the Global Liason Ofice of The National Institute of Informatics) at  Suan Ruam Jai Meeting Room 2, Engineering Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.

In addition to the introduction of each organization, there was a discussion on ways to collaborate with the researcher internship program and support activities from NII, especially in computer engineering and related fields.
