ไทยCongratulations to the students from the Chulalongkorn University High Altitude Research Club (CUHAR) for winning 3rd Place in the 30K COTS category at the International Rocket Engineering Competition 2025 (IREC 2025), held in Midland, Texas, USA, from June 9–14, 2025.

In the 30K COTS category of the competition, the University of Canterbury team won the first prize, and the University of Melbourne team the second among qualified 144 world-class aerospace engineering institutes including the University of California at Berkeley, Purdue University, University of Texas at Austin, and Seoul National University.

The competition grand challenges reflects students’ aerospace engineering skills to design and develop a high-performance rocket capable of operating effectively in unpredictable atmospheric conditions. Moreover, the rocket featured a precise and reliable tracking system capable of accurately identifying its location. This achievement marks another milestone in the pursuit of high-quality education and advancement in aerospace technology.
