8 October 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation and the Student Exchange Agreement with the College of Engineering, Yonsei University, Republic of Korea. The agreements aim to strengthen academic and research collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and provide opportunities for student mobility between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony was held at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, and was honored by the presence of Professor Chungyong Lee, Dean of the College of Engineering, Yonsei University, together with Professor Kyeon Hur, Associate Dean; Professor Byung Do Chung, Associate Dean; Professor Yong Min Lee, Associate Dean; and Professor Jong-Moon Chung, Associate Dean.

Representing the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering signed the agreements. The ceremony was also witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natt Leelawat, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supawadee Aramwit, representative of the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The agreements establish a framework for promoting academic and research collaboration, student and staff exchanges, knowledge sharing, and other mutually beneficial academic activities. In particular, the Student Exchange Agreement will provide opportunities for students from both institutions to gain international academic and cultural experiences and to engage with their counterparts in a global learning environment.
