The Office of International Affairs, Chula Engineering, proudly organized the BKK One Day Tour program, offering a unique opportunity for international students to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Thailand. The program, which took place on June 2, 2023, successfully connected nine international students with the vibrant sights and sounds of Bangkok.

The BKK One Day Tour program aimed to provide a comprehensive cultural experience for the participants by exploring two prominent locations in Bangkok – the Museum Siam and Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkalaram Ratchaworamahawihan or Wat Pho (temple). With the goal of fostering cross-cultural understanding, the program offered international students a chance to delve into the heart of Thai culture, history, and traditions.

The day began with a visit to the renowned Museum Siam, where students were enthralled by the interactive exhibitions showcasing the fascinating history of Thailand. From ancient civilizations to modern times, the students gained a deeper understanding of the country’s diverse heritage and its profound influence on Thai society today.

After an insightful exploration of Museum Siam, the group proceeded to Wat Pho, one of Bangkok’s most iconic temples. The students marveled at the awe-inspiring architecture, intricate craftsmanship, and serene atmosphere of this revered Buddhist temple. Under the guidance of knowledgeable staff, the students also had the opportunity to learn about Buddhist practices and traditions, further enriching their cultural understanding.

Throughout the BKK One Day Tour program, the nine international students from Chula Engineering were accompanied by a team of three dedicated staff members. The staff provided invaluable support, ensuring the smooth execution of the itinerary and creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
