January 29, 2024 – Bangkok, Thailand – From January 21st to 27th, 2024, a group of students from Harbin Engineering University (HEU) in China participated in a unique academic and cultural program hosted by Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Engineering.

The Academic and Cultural Excursion Program (ACE Program 2024) provided an opportunity for HEU students to immerse themselves in Thai engineering classes and workshops, led by Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, Assistant Dean for International Affairs at Chula Engineering. The program aimed to broaden students’ horizons, encourage critical thinking, and foster international friendships.

During their week-long visit, HEU students also had the chance to explore Thai culture through visits to Museum Siam and Wat Pho, accompanied by Thai student buddies who provided support and guidance throughout the program.

Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat expressed his delight in hosting the HEU students, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges in promoting cultural understanding and collaboration between institutions.

The ACE Program 2024 reflects Chulalongkorn University’s commitment to global engagement and fostering connections across borders.
