On Friday, June 20, 2014, Chula Engineering led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Manoj Lohatepanont Associate Dean and Dr. Phongphaeth Pengvanich Assistant Dean for International Affairs welcomed the delegation from Engineering Schools from Chinese University Group Excellence 9, china. The purpose of visiting were to meet and discuss on academic of collaboration and Department of Mechanical Engineering’s laboratory tour.

Chula Engineering is searching for a capable individual with extensive experience in management to fill the position of Director of the International School of Engineering. Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree The position is highly important to the administration of the International School of Engineering (ISE) and its international engineering programs that have produced many highly qualified engineers for the nation.  Every year, ISE accepts competent students into its four main programs in Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ADME), Aerospace Engineering (AERO), Information and Communication Engineering (ICE), and Nano Engineering (NANO).

 On February 19, 2014, Chula Engineering led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Manoj Lohatepanont, Assistant Prof. Dr. Supavadee Aramvith, Assistant Prof. Dr. Thanarat Chalidabhongse, Dr. Peerapon Vateekul and Dr. Pongphaeth Pengvanich welcomed the delegations from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan at Meeting room SRJ 1, 9:00 am, Building 3, Chula Engineering. The purpose of visiting was to meet and discuss on academic on collaboration.

On January 22, 2013, Chula Engineering led by Dr. Pongphaeth Pengvanich and Assistant Prof. Dr. Withit Pansuk welcomed the delegations from Kochi University of Technology, Japan at Meeting Room 116/3, 10:00 am, building 3, Chula Engineering. The purpose of visiting was to meet and discuss on academic on collaboration.

On November 21, 2013, Chula Engineering led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Manoj Lohatepanont and Dr. Pongphaeth Pengvanich welcomed the delegations from University of Proto, Portugal. The purpose of visiting was to present the Program Scholarship Mobility of Interweave to faculty members and interested students.

On November 26, 2013, Chula Engineering led by Assistant Prof. Dr. Manoj Lohatepanont,  Associate dean, Associate Prof. Dr. Deacha Chatsiriwech, Department of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Boonchuay Supmonchai, Department of Electrical Engineering and Dr. Pongphaeth Pengvanich, Assistant dean for International Affairs welcomed the delegations from German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM Asia. The purpose of visiting was to discuss on academic on collaboration and announced the scholarship.

On November 21, 2013, Chula Engineering led by Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, Dean, Prof. Suttichai Assabumrungrat, Associate Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sompong Putivisutisak, Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. David Banjerdpongchai, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Prasit Prapinmongkolkarn, Department of Electrical Engineering, Asst. Prof Dr. Tuptim Angkaew, Department of Electrical Engineering and Dr. Phongphaeth Pengvanich, Assistant Dean for the International Affairs welcomed the delegations from National Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Japan. The purpose of visiting is to discuss on research collaboration.

The 6th ASEAN Civil Engineering Conference (ACEC) and the 6th ASEAN Environmental Engineering Conference (AEEC) were jointly organized under the theme “Civil and Environmental Engineering for ASEAN Community Development” from November 21-22, 2013 at Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. More than 100 participants from Member Institutions (MIs), Japanese Supporting Universities (JSUs), government agency, the industry sector and AUN/SEED-Net current students and alumni attended the conference. Prof. Bundhit Eua-Arporn, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Mr. IKEDA Shuichi, Chief Representative of JICA Thailand Office, and Mr. KONISHI Nobuyuki, Deputy Chief Advisor, JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net, delivered inaugural addresses while keynote lectures were given to the keen audience by Prof. Ekasit Limsuwan, Former Board Member of Council of Engineers (COE), Thailand, Prof. UEDA Tamon, Division of Engineering and Policy for Sustainable Environment, Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University, Mr. Bodin Udol, Managing director, Utility Business Alliance Co., Ltd. (UBA) and Prof. FUJII Shigeo, Dean, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. With the objective to strengthen research collaboration among regional academic institutions and the industries in civil and environmental engineering, the conference program included sharing of new innovations and recent research findings with presentations by distinguished professors from both ASEAN and Japan
