The Bernd Rode Award is granted by the ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) to outstanding scientific and higher education collaborations between its Austrian and South-East-Asian or Pakistani member universities. The Award is given every 18 months in three different categories:

📍 Junior (Individual contributions conducted within the framework of ASEA-UNINET by applicants up to 5 years after completion of their Ph.D. studies)
📍 Senior (Individual contributions, including all publications and projects carried out in the framework of ASEA-UNINET by applicants over a period of 5 years after completion of their Ph.D. studies)
📍Project-based collaborative research conducted in the framework of ASEA-UNINET
The Award is named after Bernd Michael Rode, an eminent Austrian researcher and founder of ASEA-UNINET.

EPFLeaders4impact is a MSCA postdoctoral fellowship programme funding talented researchers who have the ambition to provide innovative solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Granted applicants will carry out their project at one of the five EPFL campuses (i.e. EPFL campuses in Lausanne, Geneva, Neuchâtel, Valais, or Fribourg) and will benefit from a multifaceted training programme, including a collaboration with the non-academic sector.

The Innovation Challenge 2021: Child and Youth Mental Health (the Challenge), is a Program of the Western Australian (WA) Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund. The Challenge seeks to stimulate innovation and the development and delivery of a solution to a significant unmet need identified by the Challenge ‘winner’ in the area of child and youth (0 – 24 years) mental health in Western Australia. This Challenge is open to local, national and international applicants.

Funding will be provided on a competitive basis to the innovation proposals must demonstrate the potential to develop and implement novel (new) processes, products and/or services relevant to this area. The proposed solution must result in transformative/disruptive change.

JASTIP-Net 2022: Call for Application for New Collaborative Researches

The Japan-ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Platform (JASTIP) is a high-level intergovernmental cooperation that is welcomed by the Heads of State/Government of the ASEAN Member States and Japan. JASTIP has been implemented by Kyoto University with financial support from Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) since 2015 to promote collaboration on science, technology, and innovation research among Japan and the ASEAN Member States, and to accelerate the application of research outcomes to social implementation towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
