English“Global research internship engineering, science, humanities and management (GRIESHMA)” organized by Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) offers students an opportunity to intensify their research ability and work with experienced IITM team. Apart from the research program, students would also have a chance to join social and cultural activities with IITM buddy throughout the program to gain insights into Indian society and culture such as industry visit, cultural visit and campus tour. The duration of program is up to 6 – 8 weeks depending upon your availability.
Who should apply:
The program is available for third and fourth year undergraduate students who are interested in the field of Atmospheric Sciences and Technology, Nano/Bio Materials, Computational Sciences, Environmental Engineering, MEMS, NEMS, Bio-engineering, Advanced sensors for national security and personal health, and Data Sciences. Selected participants will be able to gain credits (allocated credit).
The program includes:
- Roundtrip airfare and pick up from airport
- Subsidized accommodation and meal (on payment basis)
- A monthly stipend of Rs. 6000
